The Superwarm® Skiff is specifically designed for younger sailors. This suit is engineered to excel in cold conditions and brings the quality, comfort and flexibility that Zhik wetsuits are known for to our youngest sailors.

A streamlined approach has been taken to include features that align with youth sailors and their needs. Combining 2 & 3mm thermal insulating neoprene, waterproof glued & blind stitched seams and targeted super stretch panelling where it’s needed most to provide superior cold-water protection. The fast-drying Superwarm® fleece lining will keep sailors comfortable and warm, while the superior abrasion resistant panels in high wear areas will reduce wear and tear to prolong its lifespan.

This range seamlessly integrates into our adult sizing, ensuring that young sailors can transition smoothly into our adult range as they grow. Starting from sizes 10 through 14, boys can transition into size XS Men’s and girls from size 12 into XS Women’s sizes.

Safety Information

1. Use
1.1. The wetsuit should be used as intended, i.e. during water activities such as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing or paddleboarding.
1.2. The wetsuit must be properly fitted to the user's body. An incorrect fit can restrict movement, lower thermal protection, or cause discomfort.
1.3. Before applying the wetsuit, make sure that it is in good technical condition (no tears, abrasions, damaged locks or gaskets).

2. Maintenance and Cleaning
2.1. After each use, the foam should be rinsed with clean water to remove salt, sand and impurities.
2.2. Do not use detergents, bleach or harsh chemicals that may damage the material.
2.3. Dry the wetsuit in an airy, shady place, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources such as heaters.
2.4. Store in a dry place, hung up or folded in a way that prevents permanent creases.

3. Safety of use
3.1. Wetsuit is not a lifesaver and does not provide buoyancy. Always use an approved lifejacket or buoyancy aid when using a nautical wetsuit.
3.2. In the event of damage to the material that reduces its insulating properties, the foam should be repaired immediately (e.g. using special neoprene adhesives) or replaced with a new one.
3.3. Avoid exposing the foam to sharp objects that can puncture or tear it.
3.4. Do not use the foam in situations where there is a risk of exposure to fire, heat, or chemicals.

4. Storage conditions
4.1. Store the wetsuit at room temperature (10-25°C), away from UV light sources and moisture.
4.2. Avoid contact with oils, solvents and other chemicals that may weaken the structure of the material.
4.3. Regularly check the technical condition of the wetsuit, paying attention to the seams, zippers and elasticity of the material.

5. Health and safety recommendations
5.1. The wetsuit should be worn over clean skin or a thin layer of thermal clothing to avoid irritation.
5.2. If you experience an allergic reaction to neoprene or Julex, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
5.3. Avoid overheating – in warmer conditions, remove the wetsuit to prevent dehydration and heat stroke.

6. Contact in case of problems
If you notice a manufacturing defect or damage, contact the manufacturer or point of sale. Do not modify the wetsuit yourself in a way that may affect its protective properties.
